Function and Algorithm Development Engineer

Function and Algorithm Development Engineer

Your tasks:
Development of new functions for electric drives based on customer requirements 
Responsibility for the system and functional architecture in the field of electric traction drive 
Function development with modeling, simulation, and code generation (Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow/TargetLink) in an interdisciplinary team 
Execution of functional tests in a test PC test environment as well as on test benches
Technical support of neighboring development, application, and service teams
Work in requirements management, quality and problem management
Transfer of knowledge to the software development groups 
Documentation of development activities 
Close cooperation and steady alignment with the parallel development team in Germany
Your profile:
University degree in electrical engineering, physics, mechatronics, or similar fields 
Experience in Automotive function development
Experiences in system/function or software development 
Knowledge in the field of modeling and simulation technology (Matlab/Simulink)
Preferable knowledge in dealing with dSpace, TargetLink 
Knowledge on overall system level for electric drives and power electronics 
Good communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team 
Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English
